Just some of the stories making the news at Kirkham Henry last month
KH Saturdays - This morning we had great fun starting to learn Makaton signing to Andy and The odd socks song - choose respect. Here’s assistants Kirstie and Ella ( with Miss Sarah’s Poppy) helping out our Theatre Tots.
More photo’s from Miss Sophie of her body conditioning - Progressive ballet technique classes. Thanks Miss Sophie, they all look as though they’re working very hard.
KH Saturday on Social Saturday as a Community interest Company we rely on your support.

Social enterprises are making a difference in your community and around the world, set up to trade for a social purpose and using business to create a more equal society.

They are changing the way we do business and you can support them.

Social Saturday is about championing these businesses.
Here’s a lovely update from Charlie, Thanks for sending it and so glad you’re loving every moment. This surely will inspire our vocational pupils.

‘Hey Charlie here! I have just finished my first 4 weeks at the Urdang Academy. I cannot begin to explain how grateful I am for the opportunity that I have been given. It is so thrilling to be continually doing the thing I love and being able to see improvement in myself as a dancer.

The quality of training here is exceptional. We have multiple west end stars/ choreographers teaching us every day and I am always being challenged. Even though I have to wake up at 7 every morning and finish at 6 most evenings I have never felt more lucky to be here.
Then again, it is all due to my hard work and determination that I have given at Kirkham Henry over the years. The discipline from KH has definitely set me up for the next three years and for the rest of my career. Here is a photo of me with Leanne Cope(who is the original Lise in An American in Paris) who covered our ballet lesson this Friday! Urdang is everything I dreamt it to be and so much more

☺️ Heres to the next three years!’
Miss Kyla and Miss Joanne had an inspirational day at a children’s mental health and well-being seminar in Leeds.

So many experts speaking on this important subject bringing together interesting minds to share their knowledge.

If any parents would like more information please let us know.
Eloise had a great day at The Royal Ballet School Covent Garden London yesterday.

As part of Junior Associate day Eloise rehearsed a scene fro The Nutcracker and lots more exciting workshops.
It was so lovely to have Charlie and Katy back with us visiting during their half term. Of course they were happy to continue KH tradition of taking the Jazz class this evening with lyrical and commercial styles.
Both girls are enjoying the first terms at Urdang and Creative Academies in London.
Congratulations to Stephanie for winning the raffle prize and to our best spooky dressed juniors and seniors, Annie B and Kaytlyn.

Grateful thanks to our KH families for your contribution in supporting us. Such FUN this afternoon with our Drama and singing classes joining our dance classes doing the ‘Time warp’

Here’s wishing team KH all the very best for the dance festival and RYT a break a leg for The greatest show next weekend, have a lovely week everyone.
