Friends are a newly established charity formed during the Coronavirus pandemic to raise funds to help support Kirkham Henry Performing Arts to refurbish the building and to recover from losses due to the lockdown closures . Buying new windows for ventilation, has enabled classes to take place in person.

Kirkham Henry provides a significant service to the community in Ryedale and beyond. With classes for recreational enjoyment to our pre-professional vocational classes.

Its never too late to learn to dance, all our classes are a great way of keeping fit and mentally healthy . A good way to socialise and help to combat loneliness and isolation.

" we have attended adult tap for approximately 40 years now. This place is a lifelinefor us senior citizens, a place for fun, friendship and valuble exercise. Kirkham Henry CIC is an absolute asset to our community. Miss Angela has taught and inspired generations; from toddlers to teenagers, adults through to pensioners like us. We would be lost without it." The late, Josie Cuthbertson and current member Janet Bottomley.
