A huge thank you to our wonderful drama teacher Miss Allison for an absolutely fantastic Drama Showcase with our Red, White and Intermediate groups! 🌟🎭
What a truly special evening it was, filled with confidence, creativity, laughter and brilliant performances from our talented young people. Miss Allison’s passion, dedication and encouragement shine through in every child she teaches, helping them to grow not only as performers but as confident individuals. Also huge thanks to Miss Tilly, for her hard work and Miss Evie-Mae and Miss Steph for their help back stage.
At Kirkham Henry Performing Arts, we know just how important drama is for children and young people. Drama nurtures confidence, communication, teamwork, imagination and self-expression. It gives young people a safe space to find their voice, build resilience and step into characters and stories in ways that help them understand both themselves and the world around them.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to our fabulous audience! 💛 The support, encouragement and appreciation shown throughout the showcase meant so much to our performers. There is nothing more wonderful than seeing an audience celebrate the hard work and courage of our young people.
Well done to everyone involved — we are so proud of you all! ✨👏 #drama , # showcase #perform #act
More wonderful news from another vocational student. Congratulations to Emma who after gaining places at The Royal Academy of Dance, London studio centre and Northern Ballet school, Emma has accepted her place at Northern Ballet School Manchester. Emma played one of the principal roles of The Millers Wife in our Youth Ballet Production of The Three Cornered Hat, of which will be repeated in a condensed version in Showcase ‘26
“I am so excited and proud to have accepted my place at Northern Ballet School in Manchester.
This has been such a big decision for me, and I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported me throughout the audition period. I can’t wait to start this new chapter in September!”
We wish you all the very best Emma and look forward to hearing about your new adventure.
Fabulous update from Jack - So I have just come to the end of my second year at Rose Bruford studying creative lighting control and I am still loving what I am doing. I have had some amazing opportunities come my way from working Isle of White music festival last summer (even having breakfast with Ollie Murs) and enjoying some amazing performances from fantastic performers such as Justin Timberlake, Sting, the Script and many more. I also work many corporate events at some of Londons most iconic venues such as Natural History Museum, Guild Hall and Hampton Court Palace. This year I have worked on the Gorillaz Uk tour travelling up and down the country for three weeks and a quick hop over the water to Ireland, this summer I am lucky enough to be going to America with the Gorillaz on their US Tour which is going to be amazing. I will forever be grateful to Kirkham Henry for instilling so a strong and unwavering work ethic along with discipline to work hard to achieve what you want. #achievement

To hear that our final vocational student has been offered and accepted a place at the University of Chichester is simply marvellous and the perfect way to celebrate an incredible year of achievements. We are so proud that all of our vocational students have gained places at such prestigious institutions, each taking exciting steps towards their dreams.
Lilian has shared this very special news below, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate another fantastic success story with our Kirkham Henry family.
I have got an unconditional offer from Chichester University for Musical Theatre (music) where the focus is mainly on the acting and singing side of MT. I am so excited and so grateful to everyone at Kirkham Henry for supporting me. I started KH when I was 2 and had no idea how far I would go with all the lessons I have learnt and guidance I have received from both performance and life skills. I am going to miss KH so much, as it has become my second home but going off to do the degree of what I love is so exciting. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me get here so far, I am so grateful. Lilian xx
We’d like to acknowledge Miss Nicky but most of all Miss Allison for her expertise on audition preparation and working so closely with Lilian on her drama pieces and acting through song.

We are absolutely delighted to share that Kirkham Henry Performing Arts has been awarded £1000 from the Costa Coffee Community Fund ☕💛 Huge thanks to Costa Wheelgate manager Tracey and former pupil Sophie for our wonderful nomination. Once a year Costa asks team members to nominate a local community organisation that is dedicated to changing children’s futures as part of their commitment to supporting the communities they serve.
As a registered charity, support like this means so much to us and will help us continue providing opportunities for young people and our wider community through the performing arts.

We have to admit… we at KH are feeling just a little bit jealous of Blossom today! 💚✨
This afternoon, Blossom and family enjoyed the magic of Wicked in London’s West End — but the excitement didn’t stop there!
Blossom was incredibly lucky to meet up afterwards with former KH pupil Beth, who is currently appearing in Wicked (how proud are we?!). As if seeing the show wasn’t exciting enough, Beth very kindly took Blossom and her family on a backstage tour! What an unforgettable experience and such a special memory to treasure forever.
Moments like this are so inspiring for our young people — seeing where dedication, passion and hard work can lead. Thank you, Beth, for your kindness and generosity, and Blossom… we hope you are still buzzing from such an amazing day! 💚🧹✨
KH family, from studio to West End — we love to see it! 💫
There’s something very special about seeing a group of remarkable young people come together to support one another ❤️
This week, a wonderful group of friends met up with former student Lincoln to bid him farewell before he heads off to Miami to begin rehearsals for The Wizard of Oz, ready to perform onboard Royal Caribbean 🚢✨
Moments like this make us incredibly proud. Not only of the amazing achievements of our students and alumni, but of the lifelong friendships, kindness and support they continue to show one another as they each follow their dreams.
Lincoln, what an exciting adventure awaits you! From everyone at KH, we wish you every success as you begin this incredible new chapter. Keep shining – we know you’ll be amazing 🌟
🌟 Former Kirkham Henry Pupil Takes to London’s Iconic Theatre Royal Drury Lane! 🌟
We are beyond proud to celebrate former Kirkham Henry pupil Hannah Richardson, who will be appearing this September in The Last Ship at London’s iconic Theatre Royal Drury Lane, starring the legendary Sting. The production runs in the West End this autumn and marks another exciting chapter in Hannah’s incredible performing journey.
Hannah has already been part of the The Last Ship international/world tour, performing in productions across the globe – a truly remarkable achievement and testament to her talent, dedication and hard work.
From the studios of Kirkham Henry to one of the world’s most iconic stages, we could not be prouder of all you continue to achieve, Hannah. Your KH family will be cheering you on every step of the way! ⭐️
Congratulations Hannah – what an inspiration to our current pupils and students! ❤️
Since 1989 Kirkham Henry has built a reputation for excellence, professionalism and care that few organisations can match.
Like the most respected companies and organisations, our reputation has been built through consistency, integrity and results. We believe excellence is not something you claim – it is something you demonstrate year after year.
We are proud to be an award-winning organisation, recognised not only for artistic achievement but for our contribution to the wider community and the opportunities we create for young people from all backgrounds.
Over the years, countless Kirkham Henry students have progressed into professional performing arts careers across theatre, television, dance, cruise entertainment, teaching and the creative industries. Many have appeared in major productions around the world. Others have gone on to become confident, successful adults in completely different careers, taking with them the resilience, discipline and self-belief they developed at Kirkham Henry.
What makes us truly unique is that we measure success by the child who finds confidence, the teenager who discovers their potential, the friendships that last a lifetime, and the community that supports one another through every achievement and challenge.
For more than 35 years, families have trusted Kirkham Henry with what matters most to them. That trust is something we will never take for granted.
A legacy built over generations. A community built on trust. A place where young people continue to flourish, dream and achieve and adults thrive and connect, that is something we are incredibly proud of.
